Repair Service Disclaimer

AMPLIFIER DIAGNOSTIC DEPOSIT & LABOR RATES: A non-refundable minimum diagnostic fee equivalent to one hour of labor ($90) is required upon equipment drop-off (not applicable to stringed instruments). This fee will be retained even if the equipment is determined to be unrepairable or if the customer declines to proceed with recommended repairs. Labor is billed at $90 per hour and prorated in 15-minute increments thereafter. For repairs estimated to exceed two hours of labor, we will contact the customer for explicit approval before proceeding with additional work, unless a specific budget has been previously authorized in writing. The diagnostic fee will be applied toward the total repair cost if repairs are authorized and completed. By leaving equipment for diagnosis, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.

REPAIR & STORAGE POLICY: Any equipment left for repair at Gold Tone Workshop LLC that remains unclaimed for more than 60 days after notification of completion of repairs or notification that repairs cannot be completed will be considered abandoned. We will attempt to contact the owner using the provided contact information. After 60 days, we reserve the right to place a mechanic's lien on the equipment to recover repair, storage, and associated costs. Storage fees of $10 per day will accrue after the initial 60-day period. Equipment remaining unclaimed after 90 days becomes the property of Gold Tone Workshop LLC and may be sold, disposed of, or repurposed at our discretion to recover costs. By leaving equipment for repair, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms. We strongly encourage customers to promptly retrieve their equipment upon completion of repairs or if repairs are deemed unfeasible.

CONTACT INFORMATION POLICY: No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. If the customer opts in for in for text messaging updates, the customer’s mobile information will only be used for contact about your repairs/gear ; this information will not be used in any other fashion or given to any third parties unless explicit permission is given by the customer.
